Sanjay Singh Seeks Appointment From President Kovind On Murder Of Dalit Family In Prayagraj

New Delhi, Nov 27 (TNA) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has sought an appointment from the president of India, Ram Nath Kovind with regards to the brutal killing of four members of a Dalit family in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lawmaker, in a letter to the president has said that the killing og the family has once again brought to the fore, the lawlessness in the state under the watch of the BJP government.

The fact that the teenaged girl of the family was brutally gang raped before being killed, he pointed out, was even more horrendous. The crime is specially saddening since the family ahd been apprehending this crime since 2019 and had also red-flagged it to the police.

A family member of the killed persons, Krishna Bharti is with the defence forces and it is sad that such a thing has happened to his family, Singh further added. “I would like to have your valuable time so that I can brief you on the barbarism unleashed in the Gohri village of Prayagraj” Singh stated further.
