Samajwadi Party Leader Narad Rai Admitted To SGPGI After Cardiac Distress

BALLIA || Former Uttar Pradesh minister Narad Rai has been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) after cardiac distress.

Sources informed that the senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader developed unease, chest pain and breathlessness on Monday night and was rushed to a local nursing home in Ballia.

The doctors administered initial treatment to the SP leader but suspected that he had suffered a "cardiac episode". He was advised to be shifted immediately to the SGPGI. His condition is said to be stable. More details are awaited.
