Samajwadi Party Lawmaker Manoj Pandey Booked For Abusing PM Modi
Rae Bareli, Sep 6 (TNA) Samajwadi Party (SP) legislator from Unchahaar, Manoj Pandey has been booked by the local police for an alleged objectionable remark he made for prime minister Narendra Modi. A prominent Brahmin face of the party, he is accused of likening PM Modi to a criminal, according to a complaint filed with the police.
The FIR was lodged after a plaint by former BJP district president Dileep Kumar on Sunday night quoting a video clip that is doing the rounds of the social media were he is allegedly calling PM Modi a criminal and comparing him to infamous conman Natwar Lal.
Police said a case has been registered for such statements have the potential of distributing public order.
