Results Of Six Graduate MLC Constituencies Announced, BJP Takes Three, SP One

Lucknow, December 4 (TNA) Results of six MLC seats under the graduate constituency, voting for which as held earlier this week, were declared on Friday afternoon. According to the office of the chief electoral officer (CEO), BJP's Umesh Dwivedi has won from Lucknow, Lal Bihari Yadav from Samajwadi Party and Dr Akash Agarwal (Independent) from Agra.

From Bareilly, Shree Chandra Sharma of the BJP, HAri Singh Dhillon from the Bareilly-Moradabad Teachers Constituency and Dhruv Kumar Tripathi, another independent has been elected from Gorakhpur-Faizabad. For five other graduate seats, vote count is underway and results are likely to be announced by closing hours of Friday, an official further informed.
