Relief In The Offing From Humid Conditions As Heavy Rains Predicted For UP In The Next 48-Hours

Lucknow, August 23 (TNA) For all those sweating it out in the sultry and humid August, here is some good news. The Met department has predicted abundant rains for most of Uttar Pradesh in the next few days. Eastern UP specially would be in for the bounty of the rain God.

Director of Meteorological Department JP Gupta said that for the next 3 days, the state will witness heavy rains.

An alert for heavy rains has been issued for state's Shravasti, Balrampur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Shamli, Baghpat, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Ambedkar Nagar, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gonda, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shamli, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Maharajganj, Bijnor, Aligarh, Lucknow.
