QR Code Scanning For Bus Tickets In Lucknow Soon

Lucknow, Nov 25 (TNA) Commuters on the buses of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) will now be able to pay ticket price through UPI by scanning the QR code. On taking the ticket fare through UPI to the operators, an amount of Re 1 per ticket will be given to the operator on behalf of Paytm.

Informing this Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that the government is committed to provide better transport facilities to the people. In order to make this system more effective and attractive, the Transport Corporation is going to start an attractive incentive scheme for bus operators in collaboration with Paytm.

The special scheme will be implemented in the buses in the next 15 days and the process has been started for its implementation.
