Priyanka Gandhi Launches Congress Manifesto For UP Elections
Lucknow, February 9 (TNA) The Congress released its manifesto for the keenly watched Uttar Pradesh elections on Wednesday, a day before the first phase of elections for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022. Party's general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra released this manifesto - ‘Unnati Vidhan' at the state headquarters of Congress.
Earlier, the party has issued 'Recruitment Vidhan Manifesto' for youth and 'Shakti Vidhan Manifesto' for women. Earlier on Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) have released their manifesto.
20 lakh government jobs will be given. She further said that 40 percent reservation would be given to women in these jobs. If there is any disease, then treatment up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided free of cost by the government.
Releasing the Unnati Vidhan Jan Manifesto, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the suggestions of common people have been included in the manifestos released so far. Unlike other parties, announcements of other parties have not been included in this.
Today's biggest problem is employment and inflation. Many announcements have been made regarding this. He said that if the government is formed in UP, then the loans of farmers will be waived off within ten days.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that wheat and paddy will be purchased from farmers for Rs. 2500 and sugarcane for Rs. 400. He said that everyone's electricity bill will be reduced to half. Whose electricity bill is due during the Corona period will be cleared. 25 thousand rupees will be given to those families who had to face the most problems of the corona epidemic.
