Prayagraj Police Busts Solver Gang Trying To Rig UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam, Nine Arrested

Prayagraj, February 17 (TNA) Nine people, including five members of the Solver gang who were preparing to rig the UP Police constable recruitment exam case, were arrested by the Jhunsi Police and Special Operation Group (SOG) team of Prayagraj Commissionerate on Saturday.

Bluetooth devices as well as SIM card readers were recovered from the accused. The main accused are Vijaykant Patel, resident of Ratanpur police station, Bahria, Vikas Kumar Kapsa, Bahria, Nigam Patel, Jamui police station Sorav, Vijay Bahadur Kapsa, resident of Katrauli police station Bahria and Manish Patel, resident of Katrauli police station Phulpur, candidates Ashmit, Kamlesh, Ashish Yadav.

Four devices, 16 admit cards, five mobile sets and two cars, Rs 80,000 have also been recovered from the Solver gang. A total of 126 centres were created in the district for the constable recruitment examination. A CCTV camera was arranged per 24 candidates, and live monitoring of the footage of the cameras was arranged, yet the solver gang members remained active.
