Opposition Tears Into Yogi Adityanath For Cane Charge On TTE Aspirants, Varun Gandhi Joins In

Lucknow, Dec 5 (TNA) The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh came in under heavy opposition fire on Sunday for the cane charge of TTE aspirants in the state capital last night. The TTE aspirants who were taking out a candle march in the city were brutally assaulted by the police and video grabs of the incident shocked the social media.

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi posted the video of the incident and wrote how the BJP government in UP lathi charged people seeking employment and urged the people to remember this when people from the ruling party come seeking votes. Even his cousin and BJP MP Varun Gandhi slammed his own government on the cane charge.

Posting the same video, the Pilibhit lawmaker said the people being assaulted were also children of Ma Bharti and forget meeting their demands, nobody was even paying heed to them. “And over that this burtal assault, keep a hand on your heart and say honestly if these were your kids, the behavious would have been the same!” he said further.

Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav also castigated the Adityanath government on the same and said that this was “the way BJP wants to make India a world leader”. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh remidned the BJP that it was misbehaving with the very youth who brought it to power and said that this incodent would prove to be the proverbial last nail in BJP’s coffin.
