Mulayam Singh Yadav Breathes His Last At Medanta Hospital

Gurugram, Oct 10 (TNA) Mulayam Singh Yadav, one of the tallest leaders of India breath his last at the Medanta hospital in Gurugram on Monday morning. The end came at around 8:30 am, family sources said.

His son and brother Ram Gopal were among others who were present at the medical facility when the 82-year-old passed away. The Samajwadi Party patriarch and a three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh had been battling ill-health for the past few years.

His condition worsened after the death of his second wife Sadhna in July this year. Popularly referred to as "Netaji" by his followers, partymen and also leaders across the political spectrum, Yadav’s foot print on Indian politics, specially Uttar Pradesh, will surely be missed. In 1996, he became the Defence Minister in the United Front government.
