Mother-Son Murdered In Ghaziabad, Killers Decamp With Jewellery And Cash

Ghaziabad, May 8 (TNA) The city was rocked by a double murder on Wednesday when a mother-son duo was killed by unidentified criminals. The miscreants slit their throats and decamped with cash and jewellery. The bodies of mother Yashoda Devi (65) and son Bijendra (35) were found on top of the bed in their house in Gulab Vatika Colony of Loni Border police station area on Wednesday morning.

Both were found on the bed, soaked in blood. The incident happened on the second floor of the house. Other members of the family were sleeping on the third floor. Police arrived on information and inspected the incident site. Yashoda Devi’s husband died about 10 years ago.

Yashoda's son Bijender was disabled. Bijender's brother Dharmendra is living with his wife and children on the third floor of the house. It is suspected that the killers entered the house from the rear gate and murdered Yashoda and Vijendra.
