Miscreants Damage Statue Of Bhagat Singh On Independence Day In Saharanpur

Saharanpur, August 16 (TNA) Miscreants on the Independence Day damaged the bust of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. While there is no eye witness of the mischief at the Sun City colony located in Malhipur road, there is palpable anger in the area due to the incident.

An official said they were aware of the incident once brought to their notice, and they are trying to find out the people behind this mischief. The bust is a marble statue which has its nose smashed now.

As soon as the news spread, many Hindu outfits reached the scene and raised slogans and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
