MBA Student Shot Dead In Meerut While Returning From Police Station After Lodging A Complaint

Meerut, May 17 (TNA) A student of MBA was peppered with bullets in Meerut as he was returning on his bike after lodging a complaint with the police. Four assailants sat camouflaged in bushes and ambushed him on the road and opened fire on the student with a 315 bore pistol.

The crime was committed on the Rahdara-Kuankheda link road in the Parikshitgarh police station area of Meerut. At the same time, the negligence of the police in this case has also been exposed. If the police had taken the complaint of Vaibhav Tyagi, an MBA student, seriously, his life could have been saved. The police only assured action and returned Vaibhav.

Vaibhav's brother Akshay Tyagi said that his brother had gone to the police station to plead to save his life. He was neither given protection nor any immediate action was taken. Satyaveer Tyagi, former BJP MLA from Kithore, went to meet Vaibhav's family members. He reached the mortuary with the supporters and sat on the dharna.
