Mayawati Trashes Reports Of Tie Up With AIMIM, BSP To Go Solo In UP and Uttarakhand
Lucknow, June 27 (TNA) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday took to Twitter to trash reports in some sections of the media that it would contest the forthcoming UP assembly elections in alliance with AIMIM.
The four-time UP chief minister went on to clarify that other than Punjab, her party would not be in an alliance in the poll-bound states of UP and Uttarakhand.
These reports are "factually incorrect, baseless and misleading" the Dalit leader said while adding that the reports did not have even an iota of truth. She also said that her party as sticking to its earlier stand of going solo in UP and the hill state of Uttarakhand.
She also announced that she has appointed BSP Rajya Sabha MP and close aide Satish Chandra Mishra as national coordinator of BSP Media cell and that media persons before reporting on many matter should check with him.
