Mayawati Slams Yogi Government Over Murder Of Umesh Pal And The Police Gunner In Prayagraj

Lucknow, February 25 (TNA) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Yogi Adityanath led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh over the daylight murder of prime witness in the Umesh Pal murder case in Prayagraj yesterday and said there was complete chaos and lawlesness in the state.

In a statement, the four-time UP chief minister termed the murder of the main witness of the Raju Pal murder case, advocate Umesh Pal and his gunner in broad daylight as highly condemnable.

The BSP chief in a tweetsaid that this incident exposes the claims of sprucing up law and order in UP. At the same time, the BSP supremo demanded the government to conduct a high-level inquiry into the matter and give strict punishment to the culprits.
