Lucknow CMO Tests Corona Positive, Goes Into Home Quarantine

LUCKNOW || The biggest story in the war against Coronavirus came from Lucknow on Tuesday as the chief medical officer (CMO) of the state capital was infected with the deadly virus.

According to information made available by healthcare authorities, Dr RP Singh, the CMO of Lucknow has tested positive for COVID-19 and has gone into home quarantine.

Along with him, the ACMO Ajay Raja, who was also tested for COVID has also been declared positive. There has been a continued spurt in the COVID cases in the state capital over the past few days, hinting that the virus is peaking in the city.

ACMO Dr RV Singh has also been found to be Corona infected. In the past the Director General of Family Welfare and many other staffers of the state's health department have tested positive for the virus.
