Lekhpal, Wife Hacked To Death In Azamgarh

Azamgarh, Nov 29 (TNA) A twin murder rocked Azamgarh on Monday when the bodies of a lekhpal (revenue officer) and his wife were found in their home, lying in a pool of blood. Top officials have reached the spot along with the police of several police stations. The couple was attacked while sleeping, the bodies of both were lying on the ground.

According to the information, Ram Nagina (55) son of the resident of Tithaupur village of Tarwan police station area. Lalta was posted as an accountant in the consolidation department. He was sleeping at home on Sunday night. His wife Nagina Devi (52) was also sleeping when she was hacked to death.
