It Is Season Of Yatra's In Poll Bound Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, September 1 (TNA) With the Uttar Pradesh state assembly polls just a few months away, political parties in the state are getting their act together and reaching out to the people. And so it is not surprising that a wave of 'Yatras' is underway in the state, also the politically most crucial one.

And so while the ruling BJP has undertaken a 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra, the main opposition party Samajwadi Party has its own 'Samvidhan Bachao Sankalp Yatra', the Aam Aadmi Party has taken out the 'Tiranga Sankalp Yatra' in Lucknow and Agra so far and proposes to take another one in Ayodhya.

Former UP minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiyya has also kicked off his assembly campaign with a 'Jansewa Sankalp Yatra' from Ayodhya. It is now time for Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) to venture on a similar yatra. Shivpal Yadav, president of the party is embarking on a 'Samajik Parivartan Yatra' across Uttar Pradesh.

The yatra is likely to begin in mid-October from either Lucknow or Saifai in Etawah.

With 403 assembly seats for grabs the political temperature is set to soar in the coming days.
