Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Satish Mahana Tests COVID Positive

LUCKNOW || The Infrastructure & Industrial Development in the Uttar Pradesh government, Satish Mahana has tested positive for Coronavirus. In a tweet on Saturday morning, the minister made this announcement and urged people who have come in close contact with him in the past few days to get themselves tested for the dreaded virus, that has so far killed two senior ministers in the Yogi Adityanath government.

"I got some preliminary symptoms of COVID-19 yesterday after which I got myself test. My report has come positive and on doctors advise I have isolated myself in my residence" the minister and legislator from Maharajpur assembly in Kanpur informed further.

Two ministers of the Yogi Adityanath government - MSME minister of state Chowdhary Udaybhan Singh and Medical and Health MoS Atul Garg are currently admitted at the SGPGI, where they are being treated for COVID.

Other ministers - Brajesh Pathak, Mahendra Singh, Moti Singh, JP Singh, Dharam Singh Saini, Upendra Tiwari and BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh have since recovered from the Coronavirus. Sadly however two ministers in the state government, Chetan Chauhan and Kamla Rani Varun died of the viral infection.
