LUCKNOW || Hundreds and thousands of students appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET examination in the state capital on Sunday. The exam was organised across the country, concluded successfully.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokshriyal Nishank said that according to National Testing Agency, NTA around 85 to 90 per cent students appeared in NEET exam.
Pokhriyal thanked all Chief Ministers and DG, NTA for proper arrangements made to facilitate student participation. He said, NEET participation reflects the tenacity and grit of young Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
There were massive protests across the country over the conducting of the exams as the COVID 19 pandemic was spreading. Opposition parties had also joined the protests but the government went ahead with the exams and even facilitated the commuting issues that students were pointing out.
