Hoardings Against Rahul Gandhi-Priyanka With Mention Of 1984 Riots Come Up Overnight In Lucknow

Lucknow, Oct 6 (TNA) Ahead of the high-profile visit of a Congress delegation, led by its former president Rahul Gandhi, several posters and hoardings have come up overnight in the state capital denouncing the interest shown by him and his sister, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is in custody of Sitapur Police.

While it is not clear whether the ruling BJP, as alleged by the Congress, are behind the hoarding war, aimed at blunting the fierce attack by the Congress after the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, in which nine persons were killed, the hoardings carry the name of Ravindra Pal Singh, president, Gurunanak Vatika Committee, Aalambagh and Sardar Parvinder Singh, member of the Minorities Commission.
