Heavy Rains In UP: Yogi Reviews Crop Loss, Damage To Houses, Loss Of Lives

Lucknow, Oct 19 (TNA) With heavy rains lashing most parts of the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath late on Monday took stock of the situation and asked officials to conduct relief work actively and provide relief to the affected.

“The permissible relief amount should be made available to the victims soon after assessing the loss of life, animal loss as well as damaged houses due to heavy rains and bad weather” he said at a high-level review meet.

He has also directed the district magistrates of the districts affected by excessive rains to assess the loss of crops and make its report available to the government at the earliest, so that the farmers can be provided quick relief.
