Hanuman Setu Temple In Lucknow Celebrates Its 54th Foundation Day

Lucknow, January 26 (TNA) The 54th foundation day of the fabled Hanuman Setu temple was held in the state capital on Tuesday. While Coronavirus pandemic was expected to dim the spirits of the devotees, it was quite the contrary as thousands of faithful of Lord Hanuman and Neeb Karoli Baba thronged the temple on the university road.

While the temple security, staff and the management of the Shri Sankat Mochan hanuman Ji Mandir Trust And Baba Neeb KaroliJi Maharaj Ashram tried their best to ensure that the COVID protocol was maintained, there were many who gave it a go and danced to the religious tunes belted out by the PAC band, which visits the temple every year.

Many devotees, wearing masks and carrying children were also seen dancing their hearts out. The temple had been lit up with beautiful lights and decorated with colourful flowers.

The festivities have been underway since January 22, an office bearer of the Trust informed. There was Sunder Kand paath along with classical bhajans sang in the praise of Lord Hanuman.
