Four Bihari Criminals Injured In Shootout With Gorakhpur Police

Gorakhpur, April 29 (TNA) Four criminals from Bihar were injured in a shootout with Gorakhpur police. Three police constables were also injured in the exchange of fire in the Cantonment area. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that in the preliminary investigation, it has been found that the gang of miscreants of Bihar had also served a jail term in Deoria.

They used to come from Katihar region of Bihar to different districts of Gorakhpur and Purvanchal and carry out the incident of loot and used to immediately flee back to Bihar. They had committed four crimes in Gorakhpur alone.

Cantt Inspector narrowly survived in the firing of the injured miscreants as a bullet hit his bulletproof jacket. 3 police personnel were also injured in the encounter. All the injured have been admitted to the medical college. Pistols, cartridges, cash, bike and mobile have been recovered from the miscreants.

The injured and arrested miscreants have been identified as Lalwa, Vinod, Shiva and Prakash. All the miscreants are residents of Jorabganj village of Kotha police station area of ​​Katihar district of Bihar. All are being treated in the medical college.
