Five Of A Family Commit Suicide In UP's Mathura, Drank Poison-laced Milk
Mathura, February 10 (TNA) Five members of a family in Mathura committed suicide in the wee hours of Tuesday. The deceased includes a husband, wife, and three children. According to initial information, the family drank milk laced with poison. The incident came to light when the family members did not wake up until late in the morning.
Neighbours knocked on the door, but received no response. Suspiciously, they informed the police. Upon opening the door and entering, the police found the bodies of the five victims, who were found with glasses of milk near them.
The deceased have been identified as Manish (35), his wife Seema (32), their two-year-old son Prateek, and their two daughters, Honey (5) and Priyanshi (4).
The incident took place in Khapparpur village, under the jurisdiction of the Mahavan police station. Police say the motive behind the suicides has not yet been determined. The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination, and family members are being questioned.
