First Cabinet Meeting Of Yogi 2.0 Held, CM Stresses On Honest-Transparent Governance

Lucknow, March 25 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanathlate on Friday held the first meeting with his newly sworn in cabinet colleagues. In his introductory speech, he said that there is no work of more virtue than public service. Spiritual satisfaction comes from discharging the responsibilities with commitment and loyalty, he added.

“Ministers have got a privileged opportunity to serve the people and the state. Converting this opportunity into an achievement, we all have to make continuous efforts for the development of the state and the happiness of the people” the saffron-robed chief minister added.

The Chief Minister said that transparency and honesty are very important in public life. Emphasizing that the works should be executed according to the policy and rules, he said that the disposal of files should be done in a time bound manner.

He added that ministers should be present in their offices on time and complete the works. Focus on performance based tasks. and underlined that the work of transfer-posting should be done with complete transparency without any discrimination.

Emphasizing on adopting the online transfer method, he said that the transfer should be done according to the transfer policy of the government.
