FIR Against BJP MP Sanghmitra Maurya, 24 Others

Kushinagar, March 2 (TNA) The police has registered a case against BJP lawmaker Sanghmitra Maurya, her son Ashok and 24 others in a case pertaining to a scuffle between SP and BJP supporters in Kushinagar's Vishunpura on Tuesday evening.

This case has been registered by the local leadership of BJP. On the other hand, a dozen people, including Tamkuhi's block chief Vashisht alias Guddu Rai and Dhuhi's chief husband Lallan Gond, have been named by the SP.

On Tuesday, SP and BJP supporters clashed during an election program in Khalwa Tola of Panchayat Chaf of Vishunpura area. After this Swami Prasad Maurya accused the BJP of attacking him.
