Financial Compensation In UP Now To Families Of Victims Of Bull Attack

Lucknow, Oct 15 (TNA) In a decision that is all set to give succour to many, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to give financial relief to the next of kin of the victims of attacks by bulls and ‘Neel Gai’. The dependents of the deceased will be able to get financial relief from the government on the death caused by the attacks of bull and nilgai, an official said on Saturday.

The state government has declared the death due to the attack of bull and nilgai as a state calamity. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Revenue Department. On the death of a person due to state calamity, the government will give financial relief of Rs.4 lakh to the dependents.
