Family Of Girl Who Died In Road Accident While Trying To Escape Eve Teasing Youth Meet Yogi Adityanath In Lucknow

LUCKNOW || The family of student Sudiksha Bhati, who was killed in a road accident in Bulandshahar a few weeks back when she was trying to escape some youngsters trying to eve tease her, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Sunday.

The family members were accompanied by Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar and Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Nagar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured all possible help and consoled them, calling Sudiksha's death an irreparable loss to the country and society.

He said that she was the daughter of the nation, the daughter of the society. He instructed officials that an inspirational site and library will be built in the name of Sudiksha so that the children of the area can get inspiration to go ahead and study.

He also instructed the officials to provide financial help to the family. Rs 15 lakh rupees will be given to Sudiksha's family from the government and ₹ 5 lakh from MP Surendra Nagar.

The family told CM Yogi that Sudiksha was very meritorious and was keen to study even in the midst of shortages. The whole family lived in the same room, yet continued to study. Sudiksha's mother and father said after the meeting that the Chief Minister listened to her and agreed to do something in the name of Sudiksha, it is a matter of satisfaction for us.
