Etah Police Crack Petrol Pump Robbery Case, Rs 5.22 Lakh recovered, Four Arrested

ETAH || Within 24-hours of the sensational robbery at a petrol pump in Etah, the police on Saturday succeeded in cracking the case and arresting four persons involved in the crime.

According to the police the conspiracy was hatched by an ex-employee of the gas agency, along with some hardened criminals. This former staffer had bene thrown out by the company for swindling some funds.

Two of the arrested - Hari Om and Raghubeer, are hardened criminals with many cases against their names in the past. One person is still at large and the police is trying to apprehend him. Rs 5.22 lakh in cash has been recovered from the accused.

Three bike borne criminals came to the Fauji petrol pump and gas agency at Avagarh house on the Kutchehry road. They aimed pistols at the staff of the petrol pump and demanded cash. They had robbed the petrol pump of Rs 7 lakh and fled on Thursday night.
