Electricity Department Of Uttar Pradesh Creating A Dreamland At Prayagraj Mahakumbh

Prayagraj, February 3 (TNA) An astronaut from NASA had written a few days back that Prayaag's Maha Kumbh is very well-lit. He could see this from the International Space Station (ISS). Not only NASA, not only the international space station but everyone who is either passing from the Maha Kumbh area through its bridges or is flying in aeroplanes from above, the night is impressed with the lighting and decoration of the fair and is all praise for the works done by the electricity department. Someone recently called it a dreamland.

The credit for this goes to the electricity workers who have worked day and night, who have worked relentlessly and have created electricity infrastructure and facilities in a place where nothing existed. The landscape of Prayag Maha Kumbh Was surrounded by water due to monsoon floods and overflowing rivers a few weeks ago.

It also must be added that the electricity department has not only worked to light this Maha Kumbh but has also worked to create a strong electricity infrastructure forever. At several places, a number of low-tension and high-tension Lines and networks have been made underground, adding to the beauty of the skyline. More than 70,000 LED lights have been put as streetlights.

More than 52,000 new Electricity poles have been erected. These poles have also been geo-tagged to discover electricity faults in a faster way. These poles also help the visitors and pilgrims by indicating their location.

Similarly, several new substations have been erected where the load was more. Thousands of kilometres of new high-tension and low-tension Electricity wires have been erected.

Around half 1 million connections have been given to various camp offices, religious places and institutional establishments. Moreover, most of the facilities being run in the Maha Kumbh area have been energised by the electricity department.

In addition to these essential works lot of decorative and creative lighting has also been done on bridges, on the roads or other tourist and Religious places. They have been done by the electricity department which has made this Maha Kumbh a wonderland or a dreamland.
