Despite Spurt In COVID Cases, UP Government Orders Complete Unlock

UP CM has also instructed Lohia Institute and SGPGI to ready 1000 beds each for COVID 19 patients.

LUCKNOW || Despite continued spike in Coronavirus cases in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday announced complete lifting of the lockdown across the state.

With this, the shops, business and other establishments, markets will now be open for seven days and the Saturday-Sunday closure, made mandatory earlier due to the pandemic, has been done away with.

Markets can now open between 9 am to 9 pm, an official said. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has also ordered officials to speed up development projects and ensure that GST collection is also spruced up. With complete unlock now, barring containment zones, hotels and restaurants can also be opened up.

They will however have to adhere to the guidelines mandated by the union ministry of home affairs. Orders have also been issued to restart the Tehseel Diwas and Thana Diwas, the outreach of the state to people in distress.
