Corona Cases On The Rise Again In UP: Lucknow Tops The Chart, One Dead In Prayagraj

Lucknow, June 21 (TNA) After a long lull, Covid cases are once again on the rise across Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24-hours, 467 new corona patientswere found in the state. of them the highest - 130 new corona patients were in the state capital Lucknow alone. Alarmingly one person died of the deadly virus in Prayagraj.

A total of 180 patients were however were cured of Covid in the last 24 hours as well. Now the number of active cases has increased to 2825 in Uttar Pradesh. On Monday, 70,726 samples of Covid were tested and 467 new patients were found. 99 patients have been found in Gautam Budh Nagar, 49 in Ghaziabad, 14 in Varanasi, 11 in Kanpur Nagar, 12 in Hardoi, 12 in Mathura and 11 in Bulandshahr.

Less than 10 patients have been found in other districts. Nine new patients have been found in Prayagraj and one patient has died.
