Congress Legislators Stage Protest At UP Vidhan Sabha, Slam Yogi Government

LUCKNOW || Angered at what they alleged was government apathy towards problems faced by the people of Uttar Pradesh, Congress legislators on Saturday staged a protest outside the Vidhan Sabha main building, against the Yogi Adityanath government.

Hoarding placards with slogans against the government, the law makers said that the state was in the throes of an unprecedented crisis due to the Coronavirus pandemic but the BJP government was looking the other way.

The legislators included the UPCC chief Ajay Kumar Lallu, MLC Deepak Singh, Naresh Saini, Suhail Akhtar and leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Aradhana Mishra 'Mona'. They also demanded that the state government take immediate and strict steps to curb the soaring rime, crackdown on black marketing of Urea.
