Congress Appoints 15 District And City Presidents In Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, July 4 (TNA) In its big to refurbish the party organization in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the crucial state assembly polls, the Congress has appointed 15 new district/city presidents.

The Congress high command, a communique from the general secretary KC Venugopal said had cleared the appointment of Dinesh Paliwal for Kannauj district, Aslam Khurshid for Moradabad district, Santosh Singh as the new district president of Aligarh and Lal Ji Tripathi as president of Pratapgarh district.

Bhagwan Singh has been named the new district president of Mathura and Praduman aka Lalu Dubey as president of Banda district. Puneet Paliwal is the new district president of Hamirpur district.

Sanjay Gupta has been named the new city president for Banda, Madan Mohan Sharma (Mathura City), Anubhav Mehrotra as Moradabad city president, Abhinay Gupta alias Goldy as Pilibhit city president, Lokesh Chaudhary (Ghaziabad city), Salahuddin Wasi (Aligarh city) and Vishal Singh Hukum as president of the Jaunpur city. PAwan Singh has been named the Sahajahanpur city president.
