CII Initiative ‘Lucknow Votes’ To Promote Participation In Electoral Process On Saturday

Lucknow, February 17 (TNA) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising an initiative to enhance voting awareness and turnout in the state capital on Saturday, an official said. The initiative - Lucknow Votes, he further added is an attempt by the CII to ensure maximum participation of the people into the electoral process.

“Exercising the right to elect our representatives and there by a government is not only our right but also our duty towards democracy and the nation” the organisers said.

The event will be held 6 pm onwards at the CII office in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. DM Lucknow Abhishek Prakash, Police Commissioner Lucknow DK Thakur and many other eminent personalities are scheduled to attend the event.

It will be followed by the book launch of ‘From Lucknow To Lutyens’ written by acclaimed television journalist Abhigyan Prakash.
