Chances Of Shivpal Singh Yadav And Akhilesh Sharing Stage On Mulayam’s Birthday Brighten Up
Lucknow, Nov 4 (TNA) With the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav announcing that his party will get into an electoral alliance with his enstranged uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav, the SP has got a big boost in the run up to the state assembly polls.
In Etawah, the former UP chief minister had told reporters that “full respect will be accorded to the Chacha”.
It is likely now that on November 22, the birthday of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, once again the party's chief Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Singh Yadav will come together and share the stage.
Akhilesh Yadav has intensified preparations at many levels to pitch the Samajwadi Party firmly in against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2022 assembly elections. Apart from bringing neglected leaders of other parties of Dalit and backward castes to their party, he is working the wires to unite the family as well.
In the last elections, the SP had to bear the brunt of the separation of uncle Shivpal Yadav. In such a situation, efforts are being made to unite the internal family before the assembly elections to gain the power of the state. Several meetings of senior members of the family have also been held in this regard.
