Budget Session Of UP Assembly Begins Today, Opposition Raring To Corner Yogi Government
Lucknow, February 20 (TNA) The budget session of the Legislature will start from Monday. This will be the first session of the Legislature in the year 2023 and the fourth session of the Eighteenth Legislative Assembly.
In this session, the state government will get the budget for the financial year 2023-24 passed. Being the first session of the year, it will begin on Monday at 11 am with the address of Governor Anandiben Patel.
While the Yogi Adityanath government is likely to put forth its achievements like the GIS-2023 before the House, the opposition is likely to corner the government with various issues like the death of a mother-daughter duo during an anti-encroachment drive in Kanpur rural.
The opposition benches are also likely to witness some new things as veteran Shivpal Singh Yadav is back in the Samajwadi Party and there could be a change in seating as he could now be seated with his one-time estranged nephew and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who is a legislator from Karhal in Mainpuri. Shivpal represents Jaswantnagar seat.
