BSP Expels Senior Leader, Brahmin Face Nakul Dubey

Lucknow, April 16 (TNA) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Saturday expelled its senior leader Nakul Dubey from the party. BSP supremo Mayawati informed about the decision through a tweet. Dubey, who was a cabinet minister in the Mayawati government between 2007-2012, has been one of the most prominent Brahmin face of the party.

While what triggered this extreme decision is yet not known, the party said that the expulsion was because Nakul Dubey was involved in anti-party activities. The move surprised many as only two months back, Dubey was named as one of the star campaigners of the BSP.
