Body Of UP Police Constable Found Hanging In Kotwali Premises In Etah

Etah, April 22 (TNA) Body of a constable of the Uttar Pradesh Police was found hanging in the Kotwali area late on Thursday. The deceased was a resident of Hapur district. He lived with two others in the quarters built in the Kotwali premises. When his companions came back late in the night, the matter came to light.

The body of constable Sandeep has been sent for autopsy and a probe has been initiated. Sandeep was from Indragadi, Hapur and was recruited in 2021. In January 2022, he was posted in the Kotwali rural of Etah. Kotwali in-charge Jagdish Chand told that prima facie the case seems to be of suicide, but what was the reason, it is not yet known.
