BJP Releases List Of 135 Candidates, Yogi Adityanath To Contest UP Assembly Polls From Gorakhpur

Lucknow, January 15 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will be contesting the state assembly polls from Gorakhpur and not Ayodhya or Mathura was was widely rumoured. His name was finalsied for the seat by the Central Election Committee of the ruling party which met in New Delhi on Thursday.

Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will contest from Sirathu, parliamentary affairs minister Suresh Khanna from Shahjahanpur, Suresh Rana from Thana Bhawan, Mriganka Singh from Kairana. She is the daughter of late BJP leader Hukum Singh. Sapna Kashyap has been named as party candidate from Charthawal, Pramod Utwal from Purkazi and Umesh Malik from Budhana.

Sangeet Som has once again been fielded from Sardhana, Dinesh Khatik from Hastinapur and Amit Aggarwal from Meerut Cantt. Kamal Dutt Sharma has been given ticket from Meerut while Somendra Tomar has been fielded from Meerut South.

Ajit pal Tyagi has been fielded from Muradnagar, Sunil Sharma from Sahibababd, Atul Garg from Ghaziabad and Pankaj Singh, son of union defense minister Rajnath Singh has been repeated from Noida.
