BJP MLA Sits On Police Officials Chair In UP, Leaves Ruling Party Red-Faced

ALIGARH || A video on the social media that went viral on Tuesday lead to some embarrassment to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as its showed its sitting MLA sitting on the official chair of a police official and getting an FIR lodged.

The video posted by senior IPS official Amitabh Thakur shows the BJP legislator from Charra assembly constituency in Aligarh, Thakur Ravendra Pal, sitting on the chair of the SHO and ordering the obedient cops sitting next to him to file an FIR.

The 39-second video posted by IPS Amitabh Thakur, tagged ADG Agra and Aligarh Police seeking action as this was not part of a protocol expected from policemen. The SHO of Akrabad Police allowed the lawmaker to sit in his official chair of SHO, thereby demeaning his post and also ending a wrong message in the public, the IPS has alleged.
