BJP Legislator Radha Krishna Sharma Joins Samajwadi Party

Lucknow, January 10 (TNA) In a fresh political development in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, a legislator of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - Radha Krishna Sharma has switched sides and joined the Samajwadi Party (SP).

Sharma is the incumbent MLA from Bilsi assembly seat in Badaun district. This information was given on the official twitter handle of the SP. "Expressing faith in the leadership of Hon'ble National President, BJP MLA from Badaun, Bilsi, Shri. Radha Krishna Sharma ji took the membership of Samajwadi Party. Warm welcome and greetings to you,” the tweet said.

Significantly, the process of defection of all the MLAs in BJP is continuing. Earlier on January 3, Madhuri Verma, another sitting BJP MLA from Bahraich, had joined the SP.
