BJP Announces List For MLC Elections, Keshav Prasad Maurya Fielded

Lucknow, June 8 (TNA) The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday announced candidates for Legislative Council elections. Many ministers including Keshav Prasad Maurya have been included

in the list.

The party has decided to send all those ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, to the Legislative Council, who are not yet members of either house.

The party has fielded Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, JPS Rathore, Narendra Kashyap, Jaswant Saini, Danish Azad Ansari, Banwarilal Dohre and Mukesh Sharma.

Elections will be held on June 20 for 13 MLC seats in the state for which the process of nomination has started.
