Bhojpuri Actress Akanksha Dubey Death Case: Allahabad HC Issues Notice To UP Govt

Prayagraj, Oct 9 (TNA) In the suspicious death of budding Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey case, the Allahabad High Court on Monday issued a notice to UP government. A petition has been filed by Akanksha's mother Madhu Dubey demanding CBI probe. The HC has asked the UP government to file counter within 3 weeks.

The division bench of Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra and Justice Vivek Kumar Singh issued notice to the UP government after hearing the arguments of petitioner Madhu Dubey's lawyers Saurabh Tiwari and Arya Suman Pandey.

In this case, two accused, Samar Singh (singer by profession) and Sanjay Singh (business partner of Samar Singh) were arrested by the UP Police. Sanjay Singh has already got bail from the trial court. Samar Singh's bail plea is currently pending in the High Court.
