Asha Workers Cane Charged By Cops In Shahjahanpur Meet Priyanka Gandhi In Lucknow

Lucknow, Nov 11 (TNA) A delegation of Asha Workers from Shahjahanpur called on Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the state capital on Thursday. They apprised the Congress leader of the police atoricities on them during the visit of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Adamant on meeting the saafron-robed chief minister during his visit so that they could apprise him of their problems, they were cane charged as a result of which many sustained serious injuries, one of them said. Vadra consoled them and assured of all possible help by the party in highlighting their cause.
