Incessant Rains Cripple UP's Capital, Administration Issues Advisory, Helpline Numbers

Lucknow, Sep 16 (TNA) With heavy downpour crippling the state capital since last night, the district administration in Lucknow has issued an advisory for people, asking them not to step out of their houses, unless extremely essential.

In an advisory issued, district magistrate Abhishek Prakash has urged people to stay indoors and avoid stepping out on roads, in water-logged areas and specially at places where roads are dug up or sewer line is being laid. People should also stay away from electricity poles, he added.
