Ambedkar Statue Vandalized In Firozabad Village, Replaced

Firozabad, January 2 (TNA) The district administration has installed a new statue of the architect of the Indian constitution Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar after it was vandalised by unidentified miscreants. The statue was descretaed in Daulatpur village of Firozabad.

On information, Tehsildar Tundla, Circle Officer Tundla, In-charge Inspector Narkhi rushed with the police force and pacified the angry mob who were protesting against the incident.

To ensure that the protests are contained, a new cemented life-sized statue was installed. Other legal action is being taken, an official said.
