Prayagraj, Sep 14 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court is taking a grim view of the ongoing strike by advocates for the last 15 days over the incident of lathi charge on lawyers in Hapur. For the last three days, despite the Registrar General ordering the hearing in virtual mode, the advocates associated with the case have remaining absent and this is the reason for the cases not being heard in the Allahabad High Court.

The hearing of the cases has to be postponed to a later date. Allahabad High Court is continuously expressing its concern on this issue. On Thursday, once again Justice Kshitij Shailendra of Allahabad High Court, in his order, postponed the hearing of a case due to the non-appearance of the advocate related to that case in the court and fixed October 30 for the next hearing of the case. For the last two days, the bench of Justice Kshitij Shailendra has expressed concern in its orders regarding the strike.

While expressing concern in its order, the bench of Justice Kshitij Shailendra of Allahabad High Court had cited the Constitution of India and said that when we gave ourselves the Constitution of India with a preamble that "We the people of India, the creation of India fully resolve to live in a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic and to secure for its citizens, among other things, justice, social, economic and political”.

We had a clear vision in our minds that all citizens would collectively try to achieve the objective set out in it. To what extent have we succeeded in achieving the objectives? he said. The court postponed the hearing of the case and fixed October 30 as the next date.
