After Spike In COVID Cases, Schools In UP For Class 1 to 8 Closed From March 24 To 31

Lucknow, March 23 (TNA) Following a sustained spike in COVID cases in the state, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath late on Monday chaired a high-level meeting of his officials and ordered stepping up of vigil across the state. He also ordered closure of all schools - government and private, from classes Ist to VIII th.

Instructions have also been issued to ensure social distancing and use of mask in schools where exams for senior classes are being conducted.

Fresh guidelines have also been issued for checking go passengers coming and going at railway stations, airports, bus stands. Officials in districts and police have also been asked to be more vigilant in wake of the forthcoming festival of Holi.
